about 4 minutes ago, marked the 10th year death anniversary of one of the most important men of the 20th century… to me.
honestly, you probably never knew how much of an impact you had on my young life or how much meaning you gave it. I had no real ambitions, goals, or passions until you brought emotional depth, accuracy and weight to those measly words. what you’ve given me is a role model to look up to, a standard to work towards and you’ve given me the confidence to achieve whatever it is that i may find myself pursuing without a monetary end goal. you accepted me as myself and only offered lessons of what life truly holds for those willing to reveal its truths. you’ve given me the clarity to understand that even with all the negativity and distractions within my life that there is still hope. i love you for all of those things, the person you were, the person you will always be to me, and for bringing out the best of me just by being the person that you were for yourself and for other people that you’ve touched.
you’ve made the biggest impact on my life and i’m so glad to have known the pleasure of knowing you and having you in my life for 11 years as brief as it was. i love you w all of my heart and will never forget the day you left.
i can’t wait to see you again
“There is a mircale called friendship,
that dwells within the heart,
and you don’t know how it happens,
or when it even starts.
But the happiness it brings you,
always gives a special lift,
and you realize that friendship,
is God’s most precious gift.”
